About American Stock Trader
American Stock Trader is a free weekly newsletter of factual news about small U.S.-listed and U.S.-quoted companies: Nasdaq, NYSE American, and the OTC markets (OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink). It is published by Ytronic Corp, a technology company.
Editorial policy
- Factual. Each item reports what a company, exchange or regulator said or filed. We don't add opinions, ratings, price targets, predictions or words like "bullish".
- Sourced. Every item links to its source: the company's news release (on its website, a wire such as GlobeNewswire, Business Wire, PR Newswire or ACCESS Newswire, or a syndicated copy of that release), an SEC filing on EDGAR, or an exchange or OTC Markets notice. When we link a syndicated copy, we name the original wire.
- No picks. Including a company is not a recommendation. We pick items because they are newsworthy (listings, delistings, splits, financings, results, approvals, contracts, deals), not because of where a share price might go.
- General, not personal. The same issue goes to every reader. We don't give advice tailored to anyone's situation, and we don't answer "should I buy" questions.
- Published regularly. One issue a week, on a set schedule, with every issue kept in the archive.
- Independent. We don't accept payment from any company we write about in our news section. If we ever run sponsored content, it is kept separate and labelled as described in our disclosure policy.
- Holdings disclosed. If anyone on our team holds a security mentioned in an issue, that issue says so next to the item.
Corrections policy
If we get a fact wrong, we fix it. Corrections are made in the online archive copy with a dated note saying what changed, and significant corrections are also noted at the top of the next issue. To report an error, use our Contact page and include the issue number and item.
