    Didn’t work (Windows 10-1703, AMD X370), July 2, 2017

Despite following instructions for Windows 10 installation, trying generic drivers, and even different physical slots, nothing could get the card working.
It appears attached devices at least get some power, but nothing in the way of consistency.

    Analysis:
Rosewill’s instructions for Windows update pulling generic drivers relies on the generic “Renesas” driver.
However, this driver appears to only operate on Intel-based chipsets (based on where I found links for downloads).
I tried to force the exact same kind of driver (literally the only difference in the name was “AMD” instead of “Renesas”) and it wouldn’t take it.
Therefore I can only conclude that this will likely work on Windows 10 if you have a compatible Intel chipset, but WON’T work for those of us on team Red.
(there were some Renesas driver that were showing as compatible, but nothing there match the name Rosewill’s instructions described, and when tried they didn’t work either)

Plug and Play Windows 10….it just works., April 16, 2017

Great price, and it works like a charm. Installed in a Windows 10 pc. Powered off, put in the card (didn’t connect any power other than inserting in PCI-E slot), and booted up. Windows 10 took care of the rest. I connected my 2005 Sony DCR-HC20 camcorder, fired up Win DV, and seconds later I was recording our old DV tapes to digital. Awesome. The last time we looked at the tapes was when they were created, and my 12-year-old son got a kick out of watching the day of his birth. We were about to take our tapes to a transfer company and pay RIDICULOUS money to do what I did for the price of this card. PLUS, you provide a 4pin-to-6pin cable….just what I needed for this project.

Thanks Rosewill for making a decent card that just works…at least for me.
